Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. (Kiewit), Granite Construction Co. (Granite), and Comsa Emte have formed California High-speed Ventures to pursue the design and construction of the California High-Speed Rail Program. CHSV will rely on world-class designer, HNTB to complete the design and serve as our Engineer of Record. This team brings unparalleled experience, expertise and a track record of proven performance to assist the California High-Speed Rail Authority with the Initial Construction Segment of the California-High Speed Rail program.
We look forward to participating in the economic spark that will rejuvenate California’s Central Valley and provide much-needed construction related jobs. Kiewit and Granite have a long history of providing meaningful contracting opportunities for local businesses on all of the mega-projects we complete.
It is important that the project is built on schedule and within the original budget, but it also must be completed in an environmentally conscious manner that minimizes impacts to the local communities to the greatest extent possible. We understand the importance of working with the local communities and in keeping them informed throughout construction. Residents and businesses that are informed can react in a timely manner and plan accordingly, the key to a smooth construction project is eliminating surprises! Kiewit and Granite are two of safest contractors in North America. We will be focused on completing the project safely and in sustaining public safety throughout construction.
We look forward to participating in the design and construction of the California High-Speed Rail program and invite you to tour this website to learn about our reputation, our resources, and our relationships!
